Advanced Performance Assessment: Running Assessment
Understand your running. Improve your performance.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, returning from injury or simply wanting to become a stronger, more efficient runner, our Advanced Performance Running Assessment gives you the insight to understand exactly how you move and what you can do to improve.
Combining RunEasi running analysis, VALD force testing and expert physiotherapy assessment, we identify the factors affecting your running performance, efficiency and injury risk.
Unlike a standard running analysis, every result is interpreted by an experienced physiotherapist who explains what matters, why it matters and how to improve.
This is your running performance, analysed properly.Who is This Assessment for?
Beginner runners
Starting your running journey with the right foundations can make a huge difference.
Our assessment helps you understand your movement patterns, identify areas to improve and develop a stronger, more efficient running technique from the beginning.
Recreational runners
If you enjoy running but feel stuck, struggle with recurring niggles or want to improve your pace, this assessment can help identify what may be holding you back.
We'll assess your strength, movement and running efficiency to help you train smarter and get more from every run.
Runners chasing their next goal
Small changes can lead to meaningful improvements.
Using objective data, we identify opportunities to improve your running economy, strength, power and efficiency to help you move towards your goals.
Runners returning from injury
Returning to running is about more than simply feeling pain-free.
Our assessment helps identify factors that may have contributed to injury and provides a personalised plan to help you return stronger, more confident and more resilient.
Why have a running assessment?
Most runners track their pace, distance and race times, but these numbers don’t explain what is happening underneath every stride.
You may be wondering:
- Why do I keep getting the same injury?
- Why has my progress stopped?
- Why does running feel harder than it should?
- Could I become faster by improving how I move?
- Are weaknesses, imbalances or movement patterns affecting your performance?
We assess:
- Your goals, training demands and running history
- Running mechanics and efficiency
- Strength and power
- Balance and control
- Movement patterns
- Factors that may increase injury risk
- Areas where performance can improve

Can I book a follow-up session?

Youβll receive a detailed physiotherapy report highlighting key findings, your RunEasi running score, and evidence-based recommendations to improve performance and reduce injury risk.
Can I do this assessment if Iβm currently injured?

Will this help me improve my race times?
Yes. By improving running mechanics, run-specific strength and efficiency, this assessment can support safer training and better performance outcomes.
How soon will I see results?

While running-focused, the strength, mobility, and efficiency insights can benefit any athlete who performs running or dynamic movements. However, you may benefit more from trying our Performance Lab Testing service instead, as this encompasses a wider variety of movements and tests that are applicable to multiple sports.
Can I share my assessment report with my coach?
Yes, the report is fully shareable, making it easy to integrate into your wider training.
